The Bishop of Southwark came to celebrate 10 years of the new St Hugh’s building. As at our consecration, he anointed all the members of the church as the “living stones” of which it is made.

St Hugh’s was originally founded by Charterhouse School. The school is named after the Charterhouses, which was the nickname of the houses of the religious community called the Carthusians. St Hugh was a Carthusian monk.
